Summary
Global Leadership Adventures offers 1-3 week study abroad programs for high school students to destinations such as Costa Rica, South Africa, and Galapagos. GLA trips are a life-changing cultural experiences with special focus on community service and leadership.
Our Role
We worked with Zenji Web Development to develop an online student application system which allows students to apply to the programs of their choice and pay application fees by credit card, significantly cutting down the amount of paperwork GLA has to process. After being accepted to the program, students can pay their program fees and fill out visa and health forms all via an online portal.
In addition to the front-end application system, we also developed a student management system for use by GLA administrators. This allows GLA staff to review applications and teacher recommendations and make admissions decisions online. Both the student application system and management system have greatly reduced the amount of work needed to manage enrollment and have helped GLA grow from a small startup into one of the premier study abroad organizations.
